ABOUT US
Who We Are
A non-profit, community-based organization transforming lives from the streets to stability across Tanzania.
Born from compassion, driven by purpose.
Vital Action Tanzania (VAT) was established in 2025 as a non-profit, community-based organization inspired by the compassion and social vision of the Directors of Kim & Fort Engineering Company (Tanzania).
The founders observed, during their daily operations across different regions of Tanzania, the growing number of children living on the streets and struggling for survival — victims of broken families, poverty, violence, and neglect, sleeping outdoors without food, shelter, or protection.
Deeply moved by this reality, they decided to channel part of their business profits into a social impact initiative, leading to the birth of Vital Action Tanzania.
“When business leaders use their profits for purpose, entire generations can rise from pain to possibility.
